The holiday season has arrived, and that means it’s time for Apple Chevrolet’s annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive at our Tinley Park dealership! We’re proud to be the largest single-point drop-off location for Toys for Tots in Chicagoland and to help bring joy to children across the Chicago area.

Help Us Share the Spirit of the Season
Our goal is to bring a message of hope to children who need it most. We’re collecting new, unwrapped toys now through Saturday, December 13th, and all donations go directly to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.

2026 Chevrolet Trax Giveaway
From now until December 13th, bring a new, unwrapped toy in person to Apple Chevrolet and you’ll be entered for a chance to win a brand-new 2026 red Chevrolet Trax!
This giveaway celebrates the true spirit of giving. When you drop off your toy, you can nominate someone in need or a loved one: a friend, parent, grandchild, or anyone special in your life—and their name will be placed into a raffle to receive the Trax as a surprise gift this holiday season.
How to Enter:

Important: Toys shipped from Amazon are welcome but only in-person donations qualify for the giveaway.

On November 5, 2022, we lost a cherished member of our extended Apple family. Ryan Plowman passed away at just 17 years old after battling mono complicated by Crohn’s disease. Ryan was the beloved son of Dan and Jen Plowman, and brother to Drew. His father, Dan, has been a dedicated Journeyman Technician at Apple Chevrolet for 17 years.
Shortly after Ryan’s passing, our team was inspired to find a meaningful way to honor his legacy. Knowing how much Ryan and his dad loved mountain biking and spending time outdoors together, the idea for Ride4Ryan was born — a program to collect new bicycles to donate during our annual Toys for Tots event at Apple Chevrolet.
Ryan was always the first to lend a hand — helping classmates, supporting friends, volunteering with the local soccer club, or mowing the lawns of elderly neighbors. He gave back in every way he could. Sharing Ryan’s love of cycling by giving a child in need a new bike is a reflection of the kind, giving spirit Ryan embodied.
Now in its fourth year, Dan and our Apple Chevrolet team continue to collect, assemble, and donate bikes through Ride4Ryan. To date, nearly 400 bikes have been donated — and we’re committed to keeping Ryan’s legacy alive for years to come.
