GM Rewards Credit Card

The BuyPower Card is a credit card that rewards you with Earnings on every purchase you make, redeemable toward the retail purchase or lease of a new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac vehicle.* Every year, you receive 5% Earnings on the first $5,000 in net credit card purchases. After that, you receive unlimited 2% Earnings on all other purchases for the remainder of your Account year.

There is no limit to the amount of Earnings you can accumulate or how much you can redeem toward your new vehicle, and Earnings do not expire. You can also combine your Earnings with most current GM offers and incentives. However, Earnings may not be combined with the GM Employee Purchase Program, GM Supplier Discount Program, GM Employee QRD Purchase Program/Company Owned Vehicle Program, or any other BuyPower Card or GM Card Product Earnings Program, including BuyPower Business Card Earnings. Other exceptions may apply.

Earnings don't expire on an open Account.

No. There are two ways you can redeem your Earnings. Use them to save on the purchase or lease of a new GM vehicle. And, when you use your card for eligible purchases of in-dealership Certified Service, parts and accessories or for GM extras, you can redeem Earnings to receive up to $250 in statement credits each year. Earnings must be redeemed within 90 days of each qualifying purchase.

Capital One, N.A. is the issuer of the BuyPower Card. GM is responsible for the operation and administration of the Earnings Program.

To redeem your Earnings toward the retail purchase or lease of a new GM vehicle*, first check your available Earnings then:

1. Visit the Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac dealership of your choice.
2. Agree on your best price, taking advantage of most current available offers and incentives.
3. Identify yourself as a BuyPower Cardmember and let the dealer representative know you would like to redeem your eligible Earnings.

If you would like to apply the Earnings to the purchase or lease of a new GM vehicle* by an immediate family member (i.e., parents, spouse, siblings or children), the Authorizing Officer will need to be present at the time of purchase or lease of the vehicle. The family member must reside at the Authorizing Officer's address and must not have, at the time of transfer, a GM Rewards Card product that provides Earnings or other rewards toward the purchase or lease of a new GM vehicle.* The Authorizing Officer and family member may be required to provide proof of their relationship.

2. LOG IN to your Earnings Account and click the Vehicle Care and GM Extras tab on the Redeem Page.
