After I found so many liars on autotrader, I decided to take my nephew's advice and look at your website. It was there that I found my car in your used inventory. I hadn't looked in your area, because I live southeast, but I'm so glad I listened to Gary. The entire experience at Apple was so positive...from Dan McGowan NOT using high pressure tactics, to having a loaner while leather seats were put in, to the appearance of the car when I picked it up. It looked as though it had been detailed. Everyone in sales and service was top-notch. I think that a really good selling point is the CarFax report being available online. I can only speak for myself, but I like to see the mileage and "sticker price" too. It was a grueling experience searching for a used car. As you well know, there is a shortage of really good used cars, but I found a gem at Apple. My husband and I will definitely spread the word to people who are interested in dealing with an ethical dealership and experience terrific customer service. Thank you. Kathy Sufak

Hi Lou Your service was above excellent!!!!!!! My daughter LOVES the car and I told her the story of “Lou” Every time I called you got back to me right away. You kept calling me to keep me informed of the status of repairs. You gave the kind of honest and friendly service that is almost impossible to find- - I know because that is a big part of my business I will tell any and all that will listen to me my story of “Lou”. By ghezzibutcher - Oct 1, 2010 I had the best car shopping experience with Ken Lavigne at Apple Chevrolet in Orland Park. I visited him 3 different times during my car search and always received his honest, no pressure sales approach. I received the best price from the very 1st visit. I did a lot of research to find the best deal around and was pleased to find that I was presented the best deal right in my own neighborhood. As a female, shopping and negotiating by myself, I never felt like I was treated with anything but professionalism, honesty and integrity from all the people at Apple Chevrolet. A special thanks also to Chet Palumbo who helped me with the finance part. He was very helpful and informative. This car shopping experience was a smooth transaction from beginning to end. I look forward to working with them again in the future, but for now, I love my new car! Thanks Apple Chevrolet!

I just wanted to let you know about a great employee in your Parts Department... Fred. I purchased a part in June 2010 and needed a copy of my receipt. Fred was more than helpful and went the extra mile to find and fax the receipt to me. Thanks Fred for all your help, it was very much appreciated.

Not happy and feeling that I was going to be screwed somehow, I went to Apple Chevy. They told me they'd run their own diagnostic (another $115) and get back to me. Man was I pleased when they called me to tell me the test came back the same, the converter was under warranty and they'd call me when they completed the job. To my further pleasure, when I went to pick up my car, I found THEY DIDN'T EVEN CHARGE ME FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST!! Having realized they (at chevy) were responsible, they fixed my car entirely FREE of charge, and even washed it as an added free service. I ABSOLUTELY recommend them to anyone looking for fair, high quality service!

When I was a child, we had a '47, a '54, and a '61 Chevy. My first brand new car was a 1970 Chevy Malibu. When I got married and had my first son, we traded in the '70 Malibu for a '72 Biscayne, and for a while, we had a '78 Impala also. After divorcing in 1983, I was on my own again in the car market. I made a stupid mistake, and bought a used Dodge that I owned for 18 months, but only ran for nine of them. At the time, my brother-in-law worked in the Service Department at Apple. He brought me to the dealership, and introduced me to Dave O'Donnell and Pat Swisher. They worked with me, and were able to move me from the car that didn't run into a used '80 Citation. The rest is history. As I paid off a car, I would come back to Apple to upgrade. First was an '80 Impala. Then I moved to an '86 Celebrity. Next was my first brand new car, a '92 Cavalier. The last car that I bought at Apple was a new '96 Lumina. I took this car to Florida when I moved there for a year. When I came back, I lived in a more rural area of northern Illinois. I was commuting 125 miles a day to and from the office, and I wanted a car that would perform better, especially in the snow. In 2002, I purchased a Jeep Liberty. While the car handled very well, especially in the snow, the gas mileage was horrible. When the new 2010 Equinox came out, I really liked the body style. But, even better, I liked the gas mileage that was promised. Once I got my finances in order, I couldn't wait to come back to a Chevy. And, much to my delight, Dave O'Donnell and Pat Swisher welcomed me back to Apple. I'd been through some financial bad times, and Dave and Pat, along with Chet Palumbo, worked with me to put the financing together. I was able to get a car loan through GMAC, and am now the proud owner of a 2010 Chevy Equinox. It's refreshing to have people like this that will go to bat for you, especially in difficult times. When the financing went through, I think Pat Swisher was as excited about it as I was. It's working with people like Pat, and a dealership that values your business like Apple, that make you want to keep coming back time and again. It feels like I've come home, and I can truly say that I'm glad to be back!
